New Toys

Planned Purchases:
Cheese Press!
A real, quality cheese press to make those harder cheeses! (I'm writing up the new cheese list and prices and adding it as a Cheese Selection page to our blog!) Now we can offer cheeses like Cheddars, Parmesan, and Swiss! We're so excited!! All of the cultures are made with our own goat and sheep milk, with kosher microbial rennet and kosher/Cholov Yisrael culture starter. Any additions, such as lipase for sharpness, are also kosher.


Pasteurizer/Cheese and Yogurt culturer.
A pasteurizer that will allow us to offer pasteurized milk. (I can re-add the probiotic cultures back into the pasteurized milk upon special request, for 50 cents extra.) This tool will also allow us to make up to two gallons of yogurt or inoculate and warm up to two gallons of milk to make cheese at at time.

Still waiting on the birth of the kids/lambs. (Yes, we've discovered that our sheep are pregnant. Now hopefully I can milk them when they lamb!)
