Spring Fever!

It's that time of year again and lots has been happening here at Zlatah Farms in preparation for spring! Poor Zlatah (our namesake and a Boer-Nubian cross) looks like she's carrying 3 or 4 kids! She's due the first week of March. Heidi is next, due the second week of March. Except for Tory, all the goats are due in March, so the milk sure will be flowing next month! (We're not sure if our sheep are pregnant, though.)

Also coming soon, our 40+ new laying hens will be laying their first eggs in March or April, too. We've got some beautiful chickies, both golden ones and white ones.

Last year, we had to charge $18/ gallon, but because of our Spring Fever, once our goats are in milk again, we're offering our milk at the crazy-low prices of $12/gallon, and $7/half-gallon! (If you buy 2 or more gallons, it's $10 a gallon!! WOW!) When our new chickies start laying, we'll be offering a dozen eggs for $3.50/dozen or $3.00 for 18 or more eggs! Our cheeses will be 40% off, too; please post or email me for an updated cheese price list, until we can post it online. During our Spring Fever sale, if you buy 18 or more eggs, 2 or more gallons of milk, OR 2 or more pounds of cheese you'll receive a FREE GIFT package from my Helen Soaps line, a $20 value!! Treat yourself!

God-willing, I will also be planning to make trips into LA on the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month, once all the kids are born, starting April, so you can plan to pick up or have your order delivered then. If you need milk, cheese, or eggs in a hurry, you can always have me ship overnight directly to you.

Happy Spring Fever!

Check out the new business: Helen Soaps on Facebook and on helensoaps.blogspot.com!
...And, coming soon: Order milk, eggs, and cheese online! Bulk and special orders can be processed over the phone, too.
